Right now there is a 4 year old little girl named Hannah Sames, right here in Clifton Park, fighting a disease called Giant Axonal Neuropathy. You are probably asking yourself, what is Giant Axonal Neuropathy? It is a condition that slowly kills the neurons in one’s body. As of now there are no drugs, no treatments, and no support groups. Well that is about to change. Hannah’s Hope Foundation has been formed and their mission is to find that cure. It’s a very rare genetic condition, but a research team at Stanford University believes they can find a cure. They have found their hope. On August 2nd, 2008, we hosted a Fundraiser to help Hannah find a cure. We raised $1200! Woohoo! Thank you to all of you who made it down to see us. If you didn't have the time, you can still help Hannah by attending one of their other fundraising events or donating through their website. You can click on the banner to be redirected to Hannah's site.
Thank You!
