Learning Center Information- Session II Welcome to the Tiny Tots Tea Room Learning and Exploration Center! As we progress through our second session we will continually strive to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for your little one. Late registration for open classes can be prorated for anyone with interest as well as drop-in availability.
While spending time in the learning center, please follow these guidelines to help us insure a successful and comfortable experience for your family. ~ Please arrive no sooner than 5 minutes before class.
~ Please remove shoes while on the mats. ~ If a child misses a class they may attend Friday’s Music, Movement and Art at 11:00 am for a make-up class.No other make-up opportunities will be available. ~ Cancellations due to inclement weather will be posted on local television stations and www.schoolclosingsnetwork.com. ~ Siblings are welcome to join an open class at 50% off the class price.If a sibling is not joining the class they will be required to remain as a quiet observer in a chair that has been provided.If they do participate they will be charged the sibling drop in rate for the class.Please check with the teacher prior to class to see if space is available to accommodate extra children.
~ Food is not allowed in the learning center unless provided by the teacher.Please do not eat or drink on the mats.If your child has an allergy please be proactive in letting the teacher know, especially if food is a part of the class curriculum.
~ If you are entering the Learning Center during a class in progress, please enter quietly.
~ Parents and guardians are welcome to stay and watch during independent/preschool classes. ~ If you have an infant, we have provided an infant area for your convenience.
~ We would love for your child to participate but please remember that a child should never be forced. Participation will usually increase as time progresses.
~ Cell phone courtesy is appreciated.
~ Once your class has ended please leave promptly so preparation can begin for the next class.
~ Class participation does not include use of Tiny Tots open play room.If you wish to enjoy “Open Play” for an hour either before or after class, there is a discounted rate of $3.
~ Class suggestions, comments and questions are always welcome!
~ Parent participation is encouraged!
